THE Broken Hill RSPCA’s updated facility was officially opened on Wednesday by Minister for Local Government Ron Hoenig and Broken Hill City Council Mayor Cr Tom Kennedy.

The $1.8 million spent on the hospital allowed for upgrades including expanded surgical and treatment spaces, new consultation rooms and isolation wards, modernised equipment and new surgery tables.
