NINE sporting clubs and associations across the state will share in $300,000 of grants.

Barwon MP Roy Butler put in a successful bid to secure the discretionary funding from the New South Wales Government and Minister for Sport, Steve Kamper.

The Minister for Sport can award grants that align with the Office of Sport’s Strategic Plan. This is known as discretionary funding.
