Online meeting to address flood concerns

AN online meeting hosted by New South Wales SES will be held tonight at 6pm to help landholders, local councils, representatives from supporting agencies and elected officials prepare for potential flooding along the Barwon-Darling basin between Bourke and Menindee Lakes.

The meeting will allow landholders and local community members to ask questions, hear from key agencies and access relevant and local advice.

Spokespeople from NSW SES, WaterNSW, Agriculture and Animal Services Functional Area and other relevant agencies will provide guidance for those who may be affected.

Up to date information on current river levels, potential flood risk, what to expect in coming weeks, how to prepare and stay informed and where to access support and resources will be covered in the meeting.

The Bureau of Meteorology has also provided important information for the session.

Attendees will be invited to ask questions using a Q+A function in the online platform.
