FOR the first time, rural doctors will be able to apply for the Remote Medicine Advanced Skills Training post outside of hospital settings, thanks to an initiative by the Australian College for Rural and Remote Medicine, and the Royal Flying Doctor Service South East Section.

The one-year program offers registrars the hands-on experience required to help them advance their skills required to deliver high quality car in resource-limited settings.
