THE positive response to ensuring TAFE Broken Hill's machinery was put back has been a "bright spark", according to Deputy Mayor Cr Jim Hickey.

In March, Broken Hill City Council took emergency action after it was revealed 12 lathes and four milling machines had been removed from the TAFE Annexe.
