COWBOYS and cowgirls braved the rain and ensuing muddy conditions at the White Cliffs Gymkhana and Rodeo showgrounds over the weekend, vying for the winning buckle across a range of competitions.

The event saw a smaller than usual turn out and some races cancelled due to Friday night's downpour, but those who attended braved the swampy track to compete.
