BROKEN Hill City Council will look to hang a portrait of the late Cr Dave Gallagher in chambers and place a bench outside of it in his honour.

At council's April monthly meeting, Mayor Cr Tom Kennedy put forward a motion to have an official photograph of the late David Gallagher APM, hung in the council chambers until the end of the current term of council in 2028.
