THE Far West Region’s permanent primary power supply will be returned tonight (Friday) after almost six months of relying on temporary towers installed by energy provider Transgrid.

The region was plunged into darkness last October after a storm south of Broken Hill took down powerlines, affecting some 20,000 residents.
