A SERIES of paintings of scenes inspired by the Broken Hill landscape have been on display at a Brisbane gallery this month, by former artist-in-residence with the Broken Hill Art Exchange, Paula Payne.

Payne visited Broken Hill for three weeks last August, and said she found the scenery and colours “breathtakingly beautiful.”
