ON Monday, Southern Cross Care Queensland announced its acquisition of Southern Cross Care Broken Hill resulting in 17 back-of-house roles being made redundant.

In a statement released on Monday the jobs eliminated due to being duplicated by existing roles in an office in Queensland.
