TIBOOBURRA, Milparinka, Packsaddle and Pooncarie are in ineligible to access backpacker workers under the 88-day workplace program due to having the same postcode as Broken Hill.

In February, Broken Hill City Council sent correspondence to the Minister for Immigration Matt Thistlethwaite explaining that rural towns surrounding Broken Hill were ineligible for the Rural/Remote Workplace Program.
