A CHANCE meeting and a foresightful text message began the love story of Zara Lindeman and Pawel Kuterba, who met at the Mulga Hotel earlier this year and recently became engaged.

Ms Lindeman, a musician from Deniliquin who visited Broken Hill in March to perform two shows at the Broken Hill Pub, said she was invited by locals to grab a drink at the Mulga after her show.
