A BROKEN Hill hire car business has been accused of renting unroadworthy cars for hire.

Broken Hill resident Melanie Gates said she hired a four-wheel drive ute for an event last weekend through SIXT Broken Hill, though when driving it out of town she quickly realised the car was no
