DOMESTIC violence numbers in the city have come down over two years but the rate of assaults is still high, according to recent crime statistics.

The New South Wales Bureau of Crime and Statistics Research, in their latest quarter report, have revealed in the Far West and Orana police districts there has been a 3 per cent uptake in violent
