THE Barrier Industrial Unions' (BIU) band will be celebrating 125 years with a special concert at the Wesley Church this Saturday.

From 2pm on Saturday, locals will be able to enjoy the sounds of a brass band many years in the making.

Band member, publicity officer and band library Stephen Podnar said they have 15 band members with two coming in from Menindee each week.
