A BROKEN Hill chicken has never been the same since getting drunk weeks ago, according to its owners.

Pamela Wright and John Andrews run Mulberry Vale Bush Cabins off Menindee Road, just south of Broken Hill. One evening in the middle of July, they claim, one of their two Hubbard Brown hens sampled some over-ripe grapes, an experience that had the chicken demanding more the following day.
