THE homestead on Mundi Mundi Station has been lost to fire after it went up in flames on Monday.

Broken Hill firefighters and the Rural Fire Service were called to Mundi Mundi Station just after 4pm on Monday.

Crews attended the station near Silverton to find the house was well alight.

The fire had destroyed the house and the roof had collapsed due to the damage.
