THE Barwon electorate is set to see a record funding of around $1 billion flowing in following the announcement of the New South Wales State Budget on Tuesday.

The money amounts to extra $21 million in electorate-specific funding that has been allocated to Barwon compared to last year.

Local MP Roy Butler said Barwon said he was "pleased" by the announcement.
