SUNDAY, July 13 saw a nine-race program at the Newmarket Raceway with Mildura visitor Kruger Lass for trainer Bronwyn Welsh making it two wins on the trot at the track, winning the main race of the night when she timed her run to perfection, snatching the win on the line from the very gallant Takumi Bale. Training honours for the night went to Wade Hipwell with a treble. Wade certainly has some very good dogs going around. The night also saw training doubles for Kaylene Hatzi and Mildura visiting team Rodney Millington and Kerry Prowse. Once again all winners over the 375m distance broke the 22 second barrier which just goes show the quality of the greyhounds currently running around the local track.
