THE Barrier and Broken Hill Homing Club held the second race of the season on Saturday, July 12 with eight flyers sending 151 birds once again from Dolo Tank a distance of approximately 136 kilometres east of Broken Hill.

In calm conditions, the winning bird timed in to L & S Racing lofts was a yearling Blue Bar Cock flying a velocity of 1053.903 metres per minute or 63.23 kilometres per hour.
