SUNDAY, August 3 saw eight hotly contested races at the Newmarket Raceway.

The highlight of the night was the run from Mildura visitor High Flux who flew around the 525m in a sizzling 30.24 which was a very impressive time for a grade 5 chaser.

Training honours on the night were shared with doubles for local Clayton Trengove and Mildura visitor Brock Wilson.
